Certificates of Completion
Certificates are offered for the satisfactory completion of all programs offered by Your Corporate University.
Program MeetingThere will be no classes, and offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4; Monday, Sept. 4; Friday, Nov. 10; Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24; Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 25 and 26, 2006, Monday, Jan. 1; Monday, May 28; and Wednesday, July 4, 2007. For program cancellations due to weather conditions or emergencies, please listen to the following radio stations: WZKL-FM 92.5, WHBC-FM 94.1, WHBC-AM 1480, WDPN-AM 1310, WNIR-FM 100.1, WJER-FM 101.7, WAKR-AM 1590, WGAR-FM 99.5, WHLO-AM 640, WMMS-FM 100.7, WKDD-FM 98.1, WTAM-AM 1100 and WRQK-FM 106.9.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
The purpose of a CEU is to provide a measurable record of continued growth and development in noncredit programs. Each CEU is the equivalent of 10, 50-minute class hours (10 hours = 1.0 CEU). CEUs are available on most Corporate and Community Services programs.
Refund Information
Kent State Stark reserves the right to cancel programs. In the event that your program is canceled, a full refund will be issued. Program fees which were paid by credit card will be processed immediately. Check and cash payments will be refunded with a Kent State check and will be received within four weeks of the cancellation. If a participant wishes to withdraw, 100 percent of the registration fee will be refunded if withdrawal is completed more than five business days prior to the first class, or 50 percent within five business days of the first class meeting. You may substitute participants at any time.
Parking
Parking is free in the Professional Education and Conference Center parking lot. Cars parked in restricted lots will be ticketed or towed.
Classroom Assignments
Most programs are held in the Professional Education and Conference Center. Please check the monitor upon entering the conference center for your room assignment. Click on the link "Campus Map" below for location information.
Fee Payments
A $30 fee will be assessed on all NSF checks returned to the university.
